Zenon Serafin, 71, an avid animal lover who always lived life to the fullest of Chicago, passed away Monday, March 16. Beloved husband of the late Maria(nee Pytynia); loving father of Mariusz(Monika) and Jadwiga(Ismailj) Neziri; proud grandfather of Sara(fiance Sam Kelly) Neziri, Bartosz Serafin, Julia Serafin, and Maria Serafin; fond brother of Barbara(the late Mieczyslaw) Grabiec; dear uncle of Marzena, Lucyna, Slawomir, and their families. Visitation Friday, March 20 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett and on Saturday from 9:30am until time of Mass 10:30am at St. Peter Damian Church, Bartlett.
