William Techter

William "Bill" C. Techter Jr., 67, of Bartlett, formerly of Lafayette, Ca. and Chicago; passed away at home surrounded by family. He leaves behind a son Christopher (Jackie) of Bartlett and a daughter Jamie (Aaron) Zatz of Florida; grandchildren Hayden, Carie, Ethan and Emma; brother Ron (Linda); mother Emily O., nee Ozga ; nieces Wendy and Kelly and great nephew Charlie and former spouse Janice Lee. He was preceded in death by his father William C.,Sr. and his infant son Brian. Bill was a dedicated employee of Delta Airlines for over 30 years. Bill was an avid sports fan, especially the Northwestern Wildcats. Visitation Thursday 3:00 - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Friday 10:30 a.m. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory following his services.
