William Skowronnek

William L. Skowronnek of Streamwood, Loving husband of 65 years Carol A. (nee: Meadows); Proud father of Tamara (Dale) Schlitter, Cathleen Pfeifer and William S. Skowronnek; Proud grandfather of Alaina (Sean) Noonan, Marissa Pfeifer, Daniel Schlitter, Emily Schlitter, Jack Skowronnek and Faith Skowronnek; Proud great grandfather of Logan Cari Noonan and Emmett William Noonan. Dear son of the late William and Albina Skowronnek.

William was a pipe fitter with Local 597 Chicago for 40 years, usher at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for 45 years and helped with counting collections at church. He was an avid motorcyclist for many years and went on many camping trips over the last 50 years.  He was a good friend to many and was always available to lend a helping hand.  William enjoyed going on cruises with family and friends.

Memorial Mass Friday January 3, 2025 at 11:00am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 502 South Park Blvd., Streamwood Illinois.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church appreciated.
