William Morgan

William M. Morgan, Sr., 89, died August 29, 2015. William was the beloved husband of the late Eileen (nee Wright); loving father of William Morgan, Jr., John (Barbara), David (Lisa) and Michael Morgan; proud grandfather of Kimberly, William, Kaitlyn, Giana, Jessica and Josie; fond great grandfather of Thomas, Mary Eileen, Oliva and Isabella; cherished brother of Edward (Ronnie), Kathleen (Jamie) Roberts, the late Jimmy, Jack, and Marion; dear brother in law of Lorraine Morgan. Many loving nieces and nephew.

William served in the navy during WWII aboard the USS Goshen, he started the young republicans group ROC in Carpentersville. He also enjoyed volunteering at the local soup kitchen and received many awards for his political work including the Lincoln Award.

Visitation Monday, August 31, 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Tuesday 10:30a.m. Burial Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Disabled American Veterans www.dav.org would be appreciated.
