Bill McPherson passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Billy was the loving husband of Cara Plummer McPherson, they married on July 11, 2003. He was a tropical and marine aquarium enthusiast and could always be found perfecting the salt water, moving corals, testing ph., occasional breeding and watching his fish or playing ball with his dog Dixie.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Marsha and husband Albert Kryger.
Billy leaves behind his wife Cara, of Streamwood; his daughter Carrin of Poplar Grove; son, Brian of Rockford; sister Gail (David) Snowwhite of Clarksville, TN; three stepdaughters Sandi (Joe) Annoreno of Elgin; Corey Elton of South Elgin; Kim Elton of Pingree Grove as well as grandchildren Hailey, Riley, Jesse, Brooke, Dominic and Derek.
Online Condolences may be made at the Countryside Funeral Home in Streamwood, IL. Per the family’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
