William "Bill" S. Litton, 50, of Elgin; loving husband of Neile, nee Tyburski; devoted dad of Hallie and Olivia; dear brother of David(Carol), DeAnn(John) Pociask, Jane(Chris) Breier and Rick(Carolyn); beloved son of Melodee, nee Steinke, and the late Jack Litton. Fond brother-in-law and cherished uncle of many. Bill loved life and making people laugh. He enjoyed playing poker with his friends, a big James Bond/007 fan; cheered on all Chicago sports teams (except the White Sox); even became a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox at age 10; an enthusiastic coach of his girls' softball teams; he had a great singing voice (singing the national anthem at area baseball games); active in the Gallery Players and Stage Right Productions theatre groups, where he first met Neile. Visitation Wednesday, July 23, 9:15 am until time of mass at 11:00 am at St. Thomas More Church, 215 Thomas More Drive, Elgin. Favorite pictures of Bill may be brought to church for display. Cremation will be private following mass. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated in order to be distributed according to Bill's requested charitable and other organizations.
