William Nicholas "Bill" Herman, 62, of Streamwood. Beloved son of the late Nicholas and Wilma (nee Pichler); loving brother of Susan (Dale) Rankin, Wilma (John) Rosemond, Colleen Cook, Debra (Dan) Owens, Nicholas (Karen) and Jeffrey (Joann); cherished partner of Anthony Bertucci; dear uncle of 14 and great uncle to many; close friend of Dave Krebs and best friend to many. A graduate of Northern Illinois University. Bill enjoyed Ft Lauderdale, Florida, especially the beach. He loved to read, ride horses and take care of his shelties, Missy, Hoover and Tank. Memorial Visitation 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. Donations to Anti-Cruelty Society, www.anticruelty.org, the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or charity of choice would be appreciated.
