William "Bill" Gruhn

William D. "Bill" Gruhn, Jr. passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024. An Air National Guard Veteran, Bill was an avid wood worker who also enjoyed bowling and golfing. Beloved husband of 64 years to Arlene (nee Jensen); loving father of Diane Gruhn, Patti (Scott Czubernat) Ummel, and Lori (Brad) Bijonowski; proud grandfather of Matt (Stephanie) Grillo, Meghan Grillo, Jennifer (Daniel) Mahecha, Patrick Ummel, Scottie (Sebastian Manilla) Ummel, Samantha Bijonowski, Sydney Bijonowski, and Jason Bijonowski; dear brother of Janet (the late Robert) Pettus and Joyce (the late Gerry) Stair; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, December 20 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm with a funeral service at 5:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Following services cremation private at Countryside Crematory. Inurment at Bartlett Cemetery will be announced.
