William "Bill" Greiner

William F. "Bill" greiner, 82, of Elgin, formerly of Bartlett, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025. An Army Veteran and 32 year member of the American Legion, Bill was an avid motorcycle rider and gun enthusiast who enjoyed woodworking and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. Beloved husband of the late Kay (nee Steinhebal); loving father of Nancy (Andy) Graf and Sandra (Matthew) Longton; cherished grandfather of Rachel (Luke) Weston, Andrew (fiancee Riley Searls) Graf, Reese Graf, William Longton, and Layla Longton; proud great grandfather of Leo and Lane; dear brother of Bob (Deanne) Greiner and the late Jack (Marge) Greiner; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, April 29 from 11:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Interment Bartlett Cemetery.
