Visitation for William J. "Billy G" Golembiewski will be held Thursday February 23, 2012 3:00p.m. until time of service 7:30p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Born December 24, 1942, he departed this earth on Sunday February 19, 2012 to be with those that have gone before him.
He is a former Trustee of the Village of Streamwood, former president of Streamwood Lions Club and charter member of Bartlett Rotary Club.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years Leeandra nee Monson, his children Meredith Golembiewski, Alyssa Kennedy, William L. Golembiewski, Leeandra (Marcus) Jaeger and Adam (Angie) Golembiewski, his grandchildren Joshua Pack, Emmett Jaeger, BreAnna Golembiewski and Quinn Jaeger, his sisters Joan Cabaj, Marilyn (Richard) Martin, his brothers James and Thomas Golembiewski and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Frankie Golembiewski, his brother Bob, his sister Gerie Borawski and his brother-in-laws Raymond Borawski and Wally Cabaj.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
