William George Anderson

William "Bill" George Anderson, 100, of West Chicago (originally Roselle, Illinois) died peacefully on January 2, 2026. Bill was the beloved husband of the late M. Eda Anderson; loving father of Sherry (Steve) Geyer, Karen Marie Bonfiglio, Alice (Bob) Zak and Jeff (Christina) Anderson; proud grandfather of Jennifer (Michael) Roloff, Christopher Geyer, Tim Geyer, Scott (Jill) Bonfiglio, Angela Bonfiglio, Valerie (Brett) Amen, Andrew Schackmann, Katie Zak, Bianca (Josh), Dominic Guzaldo, Alicia Anderson, Lauren (Peter) Chen, Elizabeth Kvitek and Angela Kvitek. Cherished great grandfather of many. He was the proud owner of four dachshund dogs all named Peppy.

Bill and Eda were parishioners of St. Walter Catholic Church since 1958. William was a WWII Navy veteran. He enjoyed wood carving, camping and fishing. Bill knew how to play the harmonica and was a member of the Holiday Rambler Club. Eda and Bill enjoyed traveling after Bill's retirement at the age of 65.

Visitation Sunday, January 11, 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Road, Roselle. Funeral 9:30am to St. Walter Church, Mass 10:00am. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
