William Ellison

William "Bill" A. Ellison, 80, of Streamwood, formerly of Chicago, passed away August 31, 2012. Bill is survived by his wife Helen nee Lemke; children Angela, Michael, Cindy, Tracy and Victor Savickas, Danny (Rose) and the late Cheryl; grandpa of 10; brother of Roy and Marvin and the late Harvey Reed, Carl and Horace; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bill was the main maintenance mechanic for Kimball Candy Co. He could fix anything. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Korean war. In his younger years he liked to bowl and dance. He will be remembered as a hardworking, honest, intelligent, self taught man. Visitation will be Tuesday September 4th from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 South Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road) Streamwood / Schaumburg. Funeral service Wednesday 11:30 am at the funeral home. Interment Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.
