William "Bill" Ackerley

William J. "Bill" Ackerley, 72, of Crystal Lake, formerly of Streamwood, passed away peacefully Monday, July 31, 2023 with his family at his side. An avid Chicago Bears fan, Bill was a patriotic gun enthusiast. He was a great listener who was kind, considerate, and loving. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Losacco); loving father of Angela (Adam) Golombiewski, William (the late Annmarie), Joseph (Dimitra), Amy (Jesse) Doonan, and Steven (Nyle), and step father of Guy and Matt Magrone; proud grandfather of Anthony (fiancee Madelon Moser), Thomas, Tyler, Ethan, Joey, Hailey, Lennox, Ellie, Cannon, and Makayla; dear brother of Robert (Debbie), Linda Ackerley, Patti (Nick) Mancini, Don (Kathy), and Michael (Nora); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, August 3 from 11:00am until time of memorial service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bsrtlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett.
