Wayne Towers

Wayne Towers, 94, of Schaumburg, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Born in the city of Chicago on Sunday, September 27, 1931. Wayne lived a full and meaningful life marked by love, dedication, and service.

A veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp, Wayne shared 62 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Carol. Together, they created a legacy of love. He also leaves behind children Caroline Ramsey, Wayne R. Towers, Cathy Elliot, Michael Towers, Mary Spring-Luce, and Thomas Towers. Wayne was also the proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and countless great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

Wayne's life was enriched by his passions for travel, meticulously caring for his yard, adventurous walks in nature, and using his computer. Those who knew him will remember his dedication to the simple joys that matter most.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mary Towers (nee Mamula).

Per Wayne's wishes, a private cremation will be held at the Countryside Crematory. Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Homes & Crematory in Streamwood.
