Wayne Nebel, of Roselle; devoted husband for 63 years of Ruth, nee Gerschefske; dear father of Lorelei (John) Rich, Curt (Esther), Michael (Michelle) and Vickie (Brad) Marshall; proud grandpa of Olin (Jenny), Erik (Dawnie), Dustin (Krystal), Brandon (Danielle), Maxwell, Zach, Emmaruth, Abe, Wayne (Cathleen), Emily (Keith) and the late Timmy; cherished great grandpa of Myna, Mckayla, Adam, Harper, Stella and Chloe; fond brother of Jim (Pat), Frank (Gail), Ginger (Burl), Wesley (Jan), Russell (Cindy), David (Judy) and the late Delano, Wayne was the owner, for 33 years, of SchaumRose Inn. He also helped build a lot of the roads in Itasca, Roselle and Bloomingdale while working for Gerschefske Excavating Co. In his spare time he liked to camp, work with wood but most of all spend time with his family. Visitation Sunday, October 9th 3:00 - 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile South of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Funeral Monday 11:00 am. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park.
