Wanda Kerans

April 19, 1938 — July 27, 2024

Wanda Mae Kerans (nee Tolen), 86, of Schaumburg died July 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. Wanda was the beloved wife of the late Robert; loving mother of Bridget Kerans, Robert D. Kerans, Megan (James) Maslanka, Heather (Duane) Roy, Heidi Kerans and Wanda L. (Geoff) Kachler; proud grandmother of Matthew (Finley) Roy, Joshua Roy, Alexandra Kerans, Caroline Kerans, Emily Maslanka, Hannah Maslanka, Austin (Danielle) Kachler, Courtney Kachler and Kyle Kachler; dear sister of the late Mary, Kathleen, Betty, Norma, Marjorie, Helen, Donald and John; fond sister in-law of Phyllis Tolen; she will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as all her friends. In addition, she will also be missed by her surviving meal buddies, Toto the canine, Tikki Tavi, KitKat, Paddy the felines, and Casper the parrot.

Wanda enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, upholstering furniture, food canning, and was a very creative artist in many mediums of arts and crafts, if it was trending, she did it! She loved to travel and shop at garage sales. Crosswords were her passion in later years.

Visitation Tuesday, August 6, 10:00am, until time-of-service, 12 Noon, at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Green Meadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Interment 2:30pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local animal shelter, or if you would like to purchase a tree in her memory would be appreciated.
