Wanda F. Janus, age 90 of Medinah died Thursday, January 1, 2009. Born March 9, 1918 in Chicago, the daughter of Felix and Bertha, nee Kukowski, Nowotczynski. She in enjoyed making afghans, gardening and being with family.
Survivors include son Philip (Trisha) Janus; grandchildren Eric, Candice and Keith; great-grandchildren Jared and Grace; sisters Lillian (Richard) Bronars and Bernice (Victor) Niefeldt; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded id death by her husband Ted, parents, and brother Ted Nowotczynski.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd, Roselle. Interment St. Michael. In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to charity of choice.
