Walter Zurba

Walter Zurba, of Streamwood; loving father of Jett (Stacy), Roxanne (Todd) Carrizales, Chris (Tanya), Kelly (Darnell II)Howard, Jennifer (David) Aspegren, and Jackie (Josh) Hover; cherished grandfather of Ashley, Cory, Cari, Alissa, Jacob, Desiree, Trey, Mason, Jayden, Khy, Tristan, Noah, Darnell III, Blake, Isabella and Sophia; caring brother of Lucy (Robert Gutierez)Zurba, Leo, the late Alex and the late Tamara (Louis) Sands. Also loved by close family friend Ann (Rod) Williams and many nieces and nephews and their children. He loved being a dad and grandpa to his family and many others.

Walter volunteered with youth sports in Streamwood Little League, Falcon Football, the Streamwood Lions Club and Moose Lodge, The Elgin Gun Club, Boy Scouts 3 Fires Council. Walter served in Vietnam and was a member of the Royal Aires Drum and Bugle Corp, Union of Local Iron Workers and Boilermakers and was always helping people.
