Walter Vogel

Walter H. Vogel, 88, of Hoffman Estates, IL. Born Oct. 25, 1921 in Estonia to Achel and Emmi Vogel. He was raised and educated in Dusseldorf. He came to the U.S. in 1953; Died 12/10/2009 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL; beloved husband of Kathy celebrating their 40th anniversary on Thanksgiving; loving father of Vera (John) Kasberger of Cottage Grove, OR and step-son Christopher (Julie) Gentine of Plymouth, WI; cherished grandfather of Nicole (Bob) Waniger, Sophie and Saunders Gentine; great-grandfather of Abigale Waniger. Walter was the Director of Research & Development for high speed packaging machinery in the Chicago and Sheboygan, WI areas. Walter and Kathy loved traveling the world together. Walter was an avid reader and spoke three languages. Cremation and Services were private.
