Walter Modrzejewski

Walter Modrzejewski, 100, of Bloomingdale, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022. An avid reader and golfer, Walter was a World War II Veteran of the 103rd Infantry Cactus Division. Beloved husband of 54 years to Patricia (nee Juszyk); loving father of David (Sherri) and Karen Petelle; dear grandfather of Danielle (Tyler) Simmons, Jacob Modrzejewski, Tyler Modrzejewski, Aiden Modrzejewski, Lars (Alana) Petelle, and Liam Petelle; proud great grandfather of TJ; devoted brother of the late Henry, the late Alice (the late John) Edgar, and the late Arthur (Patricia); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, August 7 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle. Funeral Monday 11:00am.
