Walter T. Laskowski of Frostproof passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 27, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Walter & Margaret Laskowski; he came to the Frostproof area in 2002 from Chicago. He was a retired self employed electrician in the residential construction business. He attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park, enjoyed riding his Motorcycle, going on RV Trips, boating and golfing. Due to the love of his life and desire to help others, he was an organ donor. He was a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the US Navy Veteran, and was proud of his service to his country.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Laskowski; sisters, Margaret "Marge" Barry of Chicago, IL and Virginia "Ginny" Waskel of Lincolnwood, IL; and his pet dog, Tiffany.
Visitation Friday 3 – 9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood. Prayers Saturday 9:15 a.m. going to St. Marcelline. Mass 10 a.m. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
