Walter J . Hock, 92, passed away peacefully at his home in Bloomingdale, Illinois on September 4, 2020.
Walter (Sonny) is the beloved husband, of 72 years, of Lois, nee Kryzak, loving father of Robert (Mary), Barbara (Louis) Commers, Raymond (Gayle) and the late Thomas. He was the proud grandfather of Selena and Megan Hock, Edward (Amanda) Commers and Kelly (Adam) Reed; proud great grandfather of Emma, Kevin, Olivia and Sayje, dear brother of John (Rose), the late Raymond and Margaret LoPresto. He was loved by many nieces and nephews who lovingly called him “Uncle Sonny”.
Walter was a “die-hard cubs fan” and loved to watch Notre Dame football. He enjoyed being around his family and was a great friend to many.
A memorial mass for Walter will be held at a later date.
