Walter Griese

Walter C. Griese, 83, of Bartlett died June 2, 2022. Walter was the beloved husband of Pat (nee Norek) for 60 years; loving father of Lynn (Chris) Kiel, Kathy Scherff, Tina (Robert) Johnson, Tracy (Jeff) Hrubec; proud grandfather of Mackenzie and Jenna. He will be missed by his 5 furry granddogs Lilly, Sunny, Rosie, Jersey and Poppy.

Walter worked for American Airlines as a cargo supervisor for 39 years. He was an avid Cub's fan, enjoyed scratching lottery tickets and watching game shows on TV.

Visitation Tuesday June 7, 3:00pm - 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 10:15am to St. Peter Damian Church Mass 11:00am. Interment Bartlett Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org would be appreciated.
