Wallace Farnsworth

Wallace Oats Farnsworth, 88, of Bloomingdale, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Born May 7, 1921 in Chicago. He was the son of Luther and Ethel (nee Oats).
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Wallace enjoyed being outdoors and working on his farm. He was very devoted to his faith and his family.
Survivors include wife of 68 years Audrey (nee Eiter) of Bloomingdale; Daughters Carren (Wallace) Piedlow of Streamwood, Cheryl (Howard) Biesterfeld of Roselle and April MacArthur of Medinah; grandchildren Jeffery (Deanna), Michael (Racquel), Steven, David (Toni), Jennifer, Kristen (Leonard), Ginger, Tracey (Christopher) and great grandchildren Grace, Sarah, Abigail and Brandon.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Glen, parents and brother Howard.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 until time of service 7 p.m. at the Medinah Baptist, 900 Foster Ave, Medinah. Burial will be private at Acacia Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
