Services for Violet A. Herod nee Brandenburg, 90, of Schaumburg for the last 15 years will be private. Cremation was also private at the Countryside Crematory.

She is the beloved wife of the late William F. Herod for 44 years; loving mother of William A. (Denise ) Herod of Chandler, AZ and Susan Kizman; Cherished grandmother of William (Angel) Herod, Jr. of Chandler, AZ, Scott (Elizabeth) Herod of Richmond, TX and Michael (Laura) Kizman and Wendy Kizman; proud great grandmother of William Herod, III of Chandler, AZ, Scott Herod, Jr. of Richmond, TX and Mia, Ella and Hanna Kizman; dear sister of William (Gertrude) Brandenburg of Sarasota, FL and Bettyann (Nels) Jensen of Tarpon Springs, FL.
