Victor M. Peña

Victor M. Peña, 55, of Bartlett, formerly of Hanover Park, died April 16, 2024. Victor was the cherished son of Marie Peña; loving nephew of Ruben (Sherry) Sanchez, Gregorio Sanchez, Josefine Pineda, Diane Loyd, Mario Martinez and the late Manuel (Hope) Barreras; dear cousin of Judi (Mark) Miller, Anthony (Helen) Barreras, Salvador Barreras, Darlene Sitar, Manuel (Linda) Barreras, Donicia Loyd, Daniel Loyd, Veronica (Tyler) Wehr, Samantha Sanchez, Kelly Sanchez, Christy Sanchez, Ruben Sanchez, Jr. and George Carrasco; fond grandson of the late Ignacia "Nash" Ceniceros.

Victor enjoyed volunteering at St. John the Evangelist Church as an usher during 4:30pm Mass every Saturday, he also helped with the collection baskets. He was a member of the Over 50's Club and the Knights of Columbus at St. Ansgar Church, as well as the Hanover Park Lion's Club. Victor was a valued employee of Countryside Funeral Home for over 11 years and he will be dearly missed by his funeral home family.

Visitation Thursday April 25, 3:00pm - 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood. Funeral Friday, 9:15 am to St. John the Evangelist Church Mass 10:00am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
