Victor C. Keegan passed away peacefully October 16, 2024. He was born February 8, 1945. He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years Paulette (Pantaleo), plus children Kathi Beaton (Tom), Michael (Amanda), daughter Kelly, James (Camille), grandchildren Trent, Connor, Taylor, Dylan, Trevor and Kendra and sister-in-law Rochelle (Pantaleo) Prybylski. He was preceded in death by his parents Josephine F. (Szot) and Walter T. Keegan, in-laws Mary and Joseph Pantaleo.
Victor worked at A.M. Castle for 30 years and was President of Local Union 3247 for 25 years. He coached baseball and softball for Hoffman Estates Park for 10 years. He also served as Trustee of Pingree Grove Township.
Victor was an avid sports enthusiast, a fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, University of Michigan Wolverines Football Team and the Philadelphia Eagles. His unique sense of humor and easy-going personality will be missed by all.
Services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the future.
