Victor Joseph Habisohn, of Hoffman Estates, died October 9, 2013. Beloved husband of Mary nee Herrig; loving father of Michael (Marie), Teresa (Christopher) McCarthy, Chris, Cathryn (Matthew) Schuck, Regina (James, Jr.) Schmidt, and Steven (April); proud grandfather of Angela, Elizabeth, Michael Victor, Christina, Joseph, Brendan (Heather), Timothy (Sylvia), Mary, Christopher, Kelly, Tess, Colleen, Sara, Daniel, Anthony, Faustina, LukeJohn, Jacinta, and Bernadette; dear brother of Margaret (Victor) Freeze, and the late Charles (Betty).
Victor was a Naval Veteran of the Korean War. He was the founder and President of Power Electronics International, Inc. and the Project Engineer for The Apollo, including the Lunar Excursion Module and the Ground Equipment.
Visitation Friday, October 11, 2013 from 3pm to 9pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday, October 12, 2013, 10:00am at the funeral home to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Elgin Mass 11:00am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
