Victor Galvan

Victor M. Galvan Sr, 56, of Streamwood for over 33 years, died Friday, December 4, 2020. Born January 7, 1956 in Mexico. Victor’s faith and family were very important to him. He was the head of the choir at St Ansgar Catholic Church where he was a member for many years. He was also a member of La Guardia de Honor del Sagrado Corazón de Jesus and the Knights of Columbus. He loved playing with his grandkids whenever he could and enjoyed golfing, grilling and was very handy. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Beloved husband of Carmen (nee Juarez); loving dad of Gezlan (Eugenio) Sanchez and Victor II; cherished Abuito/Taya of Kassandra and Abraham; kind son of the late Alfonso and Guadalupe (nee Juarez) and dear brother to 2 sisters and 9 brothers and uncle to several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10:00a.m. until time of Mass 12:00 (noon) at St. Ansgar Church, 2040 Laurel Ave, Hanover Park. Please register for a time to visit the family as well as Mass attendance by using the link below as the number of people allowed in the church is restricted due to Covid 19. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
