Vickie Tomei

Vickie J. Tomei (nee Plambeck), 66, of Bloomingdale for 30 years, died Sunday, July 1, 2018 at her home. Born March 6, 1952, Vickie grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa. Vickie enjoyed cooking, making homemade jelly, and even made her own family cookbook. However her biggest passions were her faith and her family. Beloved wife of 44 years to Ted, loving mom of Andrea (Bob) Reilly, Joshua (Heather) and Michael; cherished grandma of Meghan, Logan, Drew, Hannah and Jack; dear daughter of the late Jack and Donna (nee Swinke) Plambeck; kind sister of Judie (Terry) Robertson, Robin (Mark) Seger, Michelle (Lance Lorber) LaBath and Amy Jordan and aunt to several nieces and nephews. Visitation 9:00a.m. until time of Mass 10:00a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at St Walter Catholic Church, 130 W Pine Ave, Roselle. Entombment at St Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
