Vernon Herbener

Vernon Crandall Herbener, age 85 formerly of Bartlett; beloved husband of the late Claudette(nee Lucchetti); loving father of Venessa(Jerry) Lopatka, Vernon(Kathy), Valerie(Gerry) Heine, Victoria(Mike) Loperena and the late Vance(Myrna); cherished grandfather of Vernon(Cara) and Joshua Herbener, Christopher(Stephanie) and Meagan Heine, Michael and Kevin Lopatka, Jordan Loperena and Vance Herbener; proud great grandfather of Ryan, Tessa, Emeline and Samuel; dear brother of Donna(the late James) Benson and Alice(Gary) Pileski.


Vernon was an active duty Marine during the Korean Conflict and an avid craftsman who was well liked, a genuine "nice guy". He worked in television sales and service for 40 years and was a former active member of St. Peter Damian Church for 30 years.

Visitation Monday, February 6th 12:00p.m. until the time of mass 1:00p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 0S233 Church St., Winfield, IL. Burial Lakewood Memorial Park.
