Valentine Kolton

A memorial service for Valentine “Val” Kolton, Jr. of Streamwood will be held at a later date.
Val had a life’s journey of careers; He was an Executive for Kemper Insurance, Building and Construction company owner with emphasis for his talents of interior design. He was also a Cattle Ranch owner and operator in Arkansas. While there, Val designed and built an animal shelter free of charge for the town. He was also a Building Code Inspector for the Village of Streamwood.

He is the beloved husband of Carmen nee dela Torre since 1999; loving father of adopted son Mark Kolton and stepfather of Lynn Roper; proud grandfather of several grandchildren; dear brother of Sharon Kolton, Robin Kolton Merle, Marilyn Kolton Dwarshuis and Timothy Kolton.
