V. Eric Schertz of Bartlett; beloved husband of Linda Zimmer; loving brother of Vera Agonafer, Irene Schertz, Stephen Schertz and Susan Moreno; great uncle to many nieces and nephews; dear son of the late Vernon and Betty (nee Lewis).
Eric was a design engineer and project manager at Chamberlain, an avid motorcyclist who loved woodworking and animals.
The family has elected to have a private gathering in Eric’s memory. Memorial donations to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
