Troy Andrew Kivisto, 57, of Streamwood died June 28, 2024. Troy dedicated his life in the support of others, he loved to travel, enjoyed biking and yoga, and made a mean pot of chili. He is survived by his partner and their two cats, his parents, brother, numerous friends and relatives.
Troy was a proud veteran who dedicated 8 years to the United States Marine Corps. He also served as a Plainfield police officer for 12 years.
Burial will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
The Troy Andrew Kivisto memorial fund will be established in his honor.
