Troy Absher, 81, of Bean Station, TN, formerly of Streamwood, IL, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022. An avid family man whom enjoyed bowling, Troy was a devout college sports fan and coin collector. Beloved husband of Caroline (nee Giovingo); loving father of Andrea (Greg) Anders, Rhonda (Jeff) Chalcraft, Jennifer (Mike) Cortese, and Nicole (Joe) Varacalli; cherished grandfather of Steven (Sarah) Chalcraft, Alec (Amanda) Frankowski, Daniel (Amy) Cortese, Steven Cortese, Keith (Rachel) Molloy, Stacie (Tom) Howell, Adam Frankowski, Korrie (Mike Mocydlarz) Molloy, Jeff Cortese, Miranda Varacalli, and Joey Varacalli, Jr; proud great grandfather of Autumn, Michael, Sedona, Amelia, Abigail, Eve, Casey, Caleb, and Eden; dear brother of Donald (Linda) Absher, Johnny (Elaine) Absher, Eddie (Kathy) Absher, Joe (Debbie) White, Frances (the late Bill) McCray, the late Harold Absher, and the late Jim (the late Joan) Absher; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Memorial service Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 2:00pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 2435 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy., Morristown, TN 37814. Cremation private at Countryside Crematory.
