Timothy Maher

Timothy Patrick Maher, 66, of Elgin died December 5, 2020. Tim was the beloved husband of Melinda Wise; loving father of Robert (Kristi), Brian and Glenn (Wende) Wise; proud grandfather of Olivia, Mia and Aubrey; dear brother of Colleen (Dean), Pat, Maureen, Kathy, Dan, Erin (Matt), and Kevin (Yaz); fond uncle of many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Dennis and Joann Maher, brother Mike and nephew Jason.

Tim enjoyed barbequing and grilling. He was a proud member of the pipefitters union local 501. Tim always liked spending time with his family, but his grandchildren were number one. He always attended their volleyball games and watched them play. His grandkids were the most important part of his life.

Visitation Thursday, December 10, 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Street (at State Street) South Elgin. Graveside service Friday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Hampshire, IL. **Due to covid-19 restrictions, only 10 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time. Masks are required.
