Funeral Services for Pastor Tim Andrus of Hanover Park, will be held Monday 10:00a.m. at Village Church of Bartlett 601 W. Bartlett Rd. Bartlett, 60103, where he will lie in state from 9:30a.m. until time of service. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park in Elgin.
Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 – 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.
Pastor Tim was born Sept. 12, 1957 in Oak Park and died Friday October 2, 2009
He served as Pastor of Village Church of Bartlett from 2004 until the present. From 1997 – 2004 he worked with the International Ministries at Awana International in Streamwood , co-led the youth group at the Village Church of Carol Stream and his first church was River Grove Bible Church where he pastored from 1987 until 1996.
He enjoyed playing golf, the outdoors especially taking long walks with his wife and son and loved to share the word of God with people.
He is the beloved husband of 27years of Linda nee Esstman; loving father of Nathan; cherished son of the late Steven and Esther nee Bernero; dear brother of Natalie (Jim) Larson of Elgin and fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.
