Timoteo Vasquez

Timoteo "Tim" Vasquez, 89 passed away on March 25, 2014, quietly at home surrounded by loved ones. Born April 19, 1924 in Lockhart, Texas, he was preceded in death by 7 siblings and is survived by his brother Martin Vasquez. Tim joined the U.S. Marine Corps trained as an aircraft mechanic, he kept the birds in the air while fighting at Guadalcanal during WWII. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Isabel of 65 years. They were blessed with 5 children, Tim (Jancie) Vasquez, Veronica Bargehr, Gina Heaney, Rene (Nancy) Vasquez, and the late Maria (Michael) Frazier, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. His loves were his wife, family, and the Marine Corps.

Visitation for Timoteo Friday March 28, 3:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday 9:45a.m. to St. Mary Church Mass 10:30a.m. Entombment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
