Prayers for Thomas Gregory Stone of Elgin, formerly of Melrose Park will begin Wednesday Nov. 2, 2011 9:45a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg to St. Ansgar Church. Mass 10:30a.m. Interment St. Adalbert.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday 3:00 - 8:00p.m.
Born July 29, 1922 in Chicago, Tom died Friday Oct. 28, 2011.
Member of West Towns Barber Shop Chorus in Lombard.
He is the beloved husband of 65 years of the late Bernadette nee Dziki; loving father of Greg (Carol) of Elgin and the late Dale; proud grandfather of Angela (Mike) Prybis, Elizabeth (James) Zawlinski and Catherine Joy; cherished great grandfather of Jacob, Chase, Cole, Zachary and Sommer; dear brother of the late Leonard, Henry and Richard.
