Tom Smith, of Carol Stream, dear husband of Paula, nee Sawicki, loving dad of Brian and Brent; fond brother of Kathy (Mel) Lizama, Bobbi Smith and Bill (Ronni); uncle of Mike (Jill), Mark (Sarah), Matt (Michelle), Tami (Mike), Garett and Brianna; great uncle of 3; cherished son of the late Bill and Lucille nee Benty. Tom was a fleet service clerk at American Airlines for over 35 years. He loved billiards, traveling - including cruises, tennis, movies at home and PBS. Visitation will be Tuesday October 29th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 9:15 am prayers to Corpus Christi Church. Mass 10:00 am. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory following mass.
