Thomas Rains

Thomas "Tom" Rains, 60, of South Elgin, passed away peacefully at his home on June 1, 2020. Born October 3, 1959 in Chicago. Tom worked at DuPage Machine Products for 18 years. He enjoyed watching golf, classic rock and being outdoors, especially in Tennessee visiting the Smokey Mountains. Beloved Husband of 33 years to Carol (nee Kramka); Loving Dad of Willie (Donna) Potts, Waylon (Katy) Potts, Mark (Paulette Anderson) Rains, Tim (Jessicca) Rains. Cherished Papa Tom of Nick, Serena, Faith, Carl, Jack and late Harry and Zach; Dear Son of Luther Rains and the late Euvonna; Fond brother to Ron Rains and Kathy (Bruce) Harro; Kind Son In law to John and Lillian Kramka and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 11:00a.m. and can be seen via Facebook live on the Countryside Funeral Homes Facebook page. Once on our page simply "Like" us to view services.
