Thomas Robert Looze

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas “Tom” Looze, age 76, of Roselle, Illinois, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Tom is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Kathleen (Carney) Looze. Together, they had three children: the late Matthew Looze, Katherine (Robert) Bronk, and the late Daniel Looze. He was the proud grandfather of Declan Bronk.

Tom is also survived by his sister Diane (late David) Salem, and several cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Margaret Looze, and his sister Marge (late Jack) Finholm.

Tom is remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends — especially playing pretend with his grandson, where their imaginations took them on countless adventures. Known for his sharp mind and curiosity, he had a knack for knowing even the most random facts. Despite recent health challenges, his sense of humor never faded as he continued to bring laughter to all those around him.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
