Thomas Litts

Thomas “Tom” E. Litts, 73, of Streamwood died Tuesday August 26, 2014. Born June 26, 1941 in Freeport, IL. Tom was the son of William and Betty (nee Smith). A veteran of the U.S. Marines Corps, Tom enjoyed fishing, bird watching and just being outdoors, but his true passion was his family. Beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Knell); loving dad of Debra (Kevin) Arya and Cynthia; cherished grandpa of Rhett and one on the way; fond brother of William, Robert, Donald, Richard and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Deanna. Services and cremation will be private and the Countryside Funeral Home and crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood/Schaumburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org, would be appreciated.
