Thomas A. Gilleran, 94, of Bartlett, died January 15, 2001. Born April 13, 1916 in Chicago. He was the son of Michael J. and Mary (Kennedy). A veteran of WWII, Thomas was a First Lieutenant for the U.S. Army. A member of VFW7446, he was an avid football fan.
Survivors include son Thomas (Donna); grandsons Michael (Tina), Joe (Robyn) and Ryan (Erin); great-grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Andrew and Jessica; and brother Jim.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alice (nee North).
Visitation Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 3:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett. Funeral Friday 10:30a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
