Thomas B. Smith

Thomas “Tom” B. Smith, 80, of Streamwood, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Born May 12, 1945, in Berwyn. Tom was known for being handy. He enjoyed woodworking and made several pieces of furniture for his home. He liked vintage Mustangs and working in his yard but what he loved most was his family. Beloved husband of 53 years to Sue; loving dad of Melissa Endean, Michael (Kate Collins) Smith, Timothy (Marvel Rojas) Smith and Patrick Smith; cherished grandfather of Abigail, Trevor, Lilly and great grandfather of Elena; dear son of the late Stanley and Margaret Smith and kind brother of the late Darryl and Beverly. Visitation 3:00pm to 8:00pm with service at 6:00pm on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd, Bartlett. Following services, cremation will be private with burial of cremains at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Indian School, www.stjo.org, would be appreciated.
