Thomas Atchitson

Thomas Frank Atchison, formerly of Chicago, Streamwood, Aurora and Byron; cherished husband of Faith Joanne, nee Esquivel, father of Linda Petrone, Patricia Kemp and Thomas; grandfather of 3; brother of Bobby, Al, Ruth, Katie and Margie. He was preceded in death by 3 siblings and his parents Milton and Marion nee Griffin. Thomas retired as the Chief of Police in Hampshire. He was also a Kane County Sherrif for 25 years. He served our country in the Army 101st Airborne fighting in Vietnam. Forever patriotic, Thomas was a loyal, honest, caring, humble, hard working human being. His sense of humor will never be forgotten. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.
