Theresa M. Rooney, born in Chicago on 08/07/1931, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Surdy; beloved wife of the late William Rooney, Jr; loving mother of Susan (Tim) Gottschalk, Patrice (John) Rooney-Marnel, William (Julee) Rooney and Tim Rooney; cherished grandmother of Ashley & Kaitlyn Rooney, Hannah & Nathan Gottschalk and Abby Nunez; great-grandmother of Edson, Steven and Enoch Nunez. Dear sister of the late Frank, Joseph, Aloysius, Jerome, William, Virginia Surdy, Agnes (John) Tokarewich, Margaret (James) Slome and Joan (Richard) Vahl. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
