Theresa Mariga (nee Carbonaro), 81, formerly of Carol Stream, died Thursday, March 23, 2017. Born July 20, 1935 in Chicago. Theresa was the matriarch of her family, she enjoyed cooking and word searches. She will be missed by her family and friends. Beloved wife of the late John; loving mom of Maria (Jeff) Zmich; cherished grandma of Louis; caring daughter of the late Vito and Grace (nee Martarano) Carbonaro; dear sister of Frank (late Shirley) Carbonaro and the late Rose Scotello; caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Cremation was at the Countryside Crematory. Inurnment 11:00a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove. 630-289-7575
