Terry Campton

Terry W. Campton, 70, died peacefully and surrounded by family at Northwest Health Hospital in Valparaiso, IN, on September 5, 2022. He was born on September 2, 1952, in Clinton, IL, the only child of Earl (Roscoe) and Elizabeth (Libby) Campton.

Terry graduated with a Bachelor of Art from Illinois State University in 1976. Thereafter, he began work in the aviation insurance industry where he stayed until he retired in 2019. When not working, Terry enjoyed following sports (especially the Chicago Bears), listening to music/attending concerts, and gardening.

Terry is lovingly remembered by his children, Teresa and Sean Mullins, James Campton, and Thomas Campton; two grandchildren, Declan and May Mullins; and former wives, Kris Larkin and Margaret Mullen.

Terry's Visitation is on Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at The Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 South Roselle Road, in Roselle, IL. His Funeral is on Monday, September 12, 2022, starting with prayers at the Funeral Home at 9:15am and Mass to follow at 10:00am at St. Walter Catholic Church, in Roselle, IL.
