Terri Miranda

Terri Elaine Miranda was born on August 23rd, 1954 in Elgin Illinois to Versie Marie Beckett, of Sharon, Tennessee and Nathaniel Woods of Elgin, Illinois. Terri went home to be with the lord on March 4, 2022 at the age of 67. Terri lived in Elgin for her entire life. She attended Larkin High School where she earned a High School Diploma from School District U-46 in 1973.Terri worked many jobs throughout her life, before she started to work as a CNA for many years. She enjoyed working in the medical field and helping others in that field as well. She took pride in her work and it showed. Terri leaves to cherish her memories with two children: Jose Miranda (Yadira) and Jamica Gray (Brandon) both of Elgin, IL. She also leaves behind two sisters, Rosetta Manus, of Elgin, IL, Gloria Simpson, of Chicago, IL, and one brother Steven Manus of Elgin, IL. She has 6 grandchildren, Emily, Vanessa and Jose Miranda Jr., Brandon, Chayse, and ArryiahGray. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Terri was preceded in death by her son, Peto Angel Miranda, her father Nathan Woods, her mother Versi Marie Beckett, sisters Gloria Jean Rolling, Verlena Manus, Melba Farr, and nieces Angela Marie Farr and Kay Rollins. Terri enjoyed spending quality time with her kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed watching lifetime movies and going out to eat at OCB.
